The grand Great Knight's Hall seats 100 people. There is a professional kitchen, breakfast room, dining rooms, smoking room, guest lounges, library and music room. There is also a private cinema in a vaulted cellar, billiard room, chapel and a concert hall. The castle has seventeen bedrooms, each with bath or shower rooms. Lifts have been installed, along with central heating and a private telephone exchange.
The castle was first constructed when this region was part of English Aquitaine ruled by the Plantagenets under the King. Since then it has been occupied, owned by and hosted a glowing list of notable figures from history right up to the present day.
The château is located 30 minutes by road from Limoges international airport. On the border of the Dordogne region, it is also ideal for access to the Limousin, Charente and Lot.
